IDI HOTEL

Idi Hotel is located in the village of Zaros, 45 km southwest of the city of Heraklion, at the foot of Psiloritis (Mount Idi) from which it takes its name.

It is a family-run hotel founded in 1980, which the current generation continues to operate based on the tradition of Cretan hospitality.

Our goal is to satisfy all your needs, offering you a comfortable stay with personal care, which will make you feel like a member of our family.

The complex is spread over an area of 15 acres with lush gardens, a variety of fruit and other trees and is surrounded by the enchanting nature that offers water from the rich springs of Psiloritis.

You will have the opportunity to be in a quiet environment listening only to the song of the birds and the sound of the water running by the trees.

Next to the entrance of our hotel, fresh drinking water gushes directly from the source, while a short distance away there is our fish farm.

In our restaurant you can try fresh fish from the fish farm and other traditional dishes.

Finally, you can watch the process of grinding barley and wheat at the last remaining active Traditional Watermill in Crete.
